Do soccer players wear cups?

In my research about soccer player's gear, I found out that wearing cups isn't as common as one might think. Unlike other contact sports, the fluidity and running involved in soccer make wearing a cup uncomfortable and restrictive. So, despite the risk of injury, most soccer players choose comfort and mobility over protection. However, some players, especially goalkeepers may opt to wear them for added safety. It's really down to personal preference and comfort.
